Description

Grab your cape, become a SuperHyro!

Hyro, the leader in Responsible AI Agents for Healthcare, enables health systems to safely automate workflows and conversations across their most valuable platforms, services, and channels - including call centers, websites, SMS, mobile apps, and more. Hyro's clients, which include Intermountain Health, Baptist Health, and Hackensack Meridian Health, benefit from AI agents that are fully HIPAA-compliant, fast to deploy, easy to maintain, and simple to scale - generating better conversations, successful patient outcomes, and revenue-driving insights.

What Are We Looking For?

Hyro is seeking a healthcare leader to define and elevate our clinical product strategy at the intersection of clinical informatics, enterprise software, and responsible AI. The ideal candidate is a physician who has served as a CMIO, VP of Clinical Informatics, or C-level Health IT leader within a U.S. health system, bringing deep expertise in clinical workflows, enterprise technology evaluation, EHR integration, and digital transformation. You will shape product direction, represent clinical excellence to customers, and ensure Hyro’s AI agents meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and effectiveness. You will also help Hyro navigate the realities of enterprise healthcare, guiding stakeholders through the buyer journey, overcoming organizational complexity, and bridging startup engineering velocity with the structured processes of large health systems.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own Hyro’s clinical product strategy, ensuring AI agents meet clinical-grade standards for accuracy, safety, and workflow alignment.
  • Serve as Hyro’s senior clinical authority with CMIOs, CIOs, CMOs, call center leaders, and digital transformation executives across enterprise health systems.
  • Lead clinical workflow mapping and establish best practices for automation across access, patient engagement, population health, and contact center operations. Partner with Product and Engineering to translate clinical requirements into scalable features and inform the roadmap based on market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging AI standards.
  • Guide clinical discovery, validation, pilot design, measurement, and integration strategies for major EHR and CTI platforms (Epic, Cerner, Genesys, Cisco, etc.).
  • Represent Hyro as a clinical thought leader through events, webinars, executive briefings, and advisory groups; support enterprise procurement cycles and strategic evaluations.
  • Develop clinical whitepapers, best-practice frameworks, evidence-based insights, and safety guidelines to support GTM and customer education.
  • Collaborate with Sales, CS, and GTM teams on strategic deals, expansions, pricing and packaging, marketing initiatives, partnership strategies, and value tracking.
  • Lead Hyro’s Clinical Customer Advisory Board and support analyst, investor, and industry initiatives.
  • Engage with US regulatory and governance bodies to ensure alignment with evolving policies and standards.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree with clinical training and extensive experience in US healthcare delivery, former CMIO, VP Clinical Informatics, or equivalent Health IT leadership role in a US health system.
  • Proven experience evaluating, deploying, or governing enterprise platforms (Epic, Cerner, CTI/CCaaS such as Genesys/Cisco, CRM, or digital engagement tools) with a deep understanding of clinical workflows across ambulatory, inpatient, and patient engagement settings.
  • Demonstrated leadership in digital transformation, AI/automation initiatives, and clinical technology strategy, with familiarity in HIPAA/PHI, safety frameworks, and U.S. regulatory environments.
  • Strong communication skills and executive presence, with comfort engaging health system C-suite stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel within the US 2–3 times per quarter.
  • Advantages:
  • Experience shaping or contributing to product strategy in digital health or enterprise software.
  • Background in call center operations, scheduling workflows, patient access, or clinical operations optimization.

This is a hybrid role, with at least 3 days in the NYC office. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Offered rate of compensation (NY locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $200,000 - $260,000 annually. The range provided is for NY-based hires only and will be commensurate with candidate experience. Pay ranges for candidates in other locations other than NY may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
