​​About the Role:

We are rapidly growing our team, and are seeking a best-in-class go-getter Vice President of Regulatory & Policy Initiatives, to join our team. You will report directly to the Chief Legal Officer and work closely with our Public Policy, Legal, Clinical, R&D, Communications, and Executive teams to build and implement strategic policy initiatives related to our most innovative products and services and further develop and manage applicable industry and consumer advocacy efforts and relationships with applicable regulatory agencies.

You Will:

  • Develop and implement strategies for special product/service-based policy initiatives, including with respect to compounded pharmaceutical products and clinical support software
  • Develop and manage industry trade group and constituency advocacy efforts and coalition building
  • Manage regulatory agency relationships and approval processes for applicable products and services
  • Develop and oversee the incident response and risk management plans for applicable products and services
  • Manage external consultants and advisors working on applicable special policy initiatives
  • Oversee cross-functional work streams related to applicable policy and regulatory initiatives
  • Develop policy position papers, reports, and other policy-related materials

You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Regulatory or relevant field
  • 12+ years of public policy experience in the pharmaceutical and/ or healthcare industries
  • 7+ years prior management experience building and leading high-performing teams
  • Deep knowledge of federal and state lawmaking in the healthcare industry, including the ability to draft and interpret statutory and regulatory language
  • Significant expertise in interacting with congressional lawmakers and federal and state regulatory agencies, including FDA and/or state pharmacy boards
  • Strong experience building advocacy efforts and/or coalitions within or across industries, trade groups, consumer groups, or other constituencies
  • Experience developing incident response and risk management plans and communications strategies
  • Creative thinker with demonstrated ability to both develop and successfully execute strategy
  • Strong ability to effectively work cross-functionally, especially on technical topics
  • Experience working with and presenting to executive leadership and boards of directors
  • Strong team player and willing to assist the department in various tasks
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and possess good organizational skills
  • Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively to build consensus and positive buy-in/support for initiatives
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, able to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization both in written and oral form
  • Proven excellent project management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Exceptional time management and a strong eye for detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and ability to think big but also not be afraid to roll up your sleeves
  • Advanced degree or law degree preferred

Outlined below is a reasonable estimate of H&H’s compensation range for this role.

H&H also offers a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSU’s) so that H&H employees own a piece of our company.

The actual amount will take into account a range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and location.

$200,000$290,000 USD
