About the Role:

The Transportation Analyst plays a critical role in our end-to-end supply chain operations. You will be responsible for planning and tracking inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining strong relationships with carriers, ensuring accurate documentation, and acting as a key liaison between our logistics partners, internal stakeholders, and fulfillment teams. This is a highly cross-functional role requiring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.

You Will:

  • Develop and maintain reporting dashboards to track key transportation and fulfillment metrics, including on-time delivery, carrier performance, and shipping cost trends

  • Analyze transportation and logistics data to identify inefficiencies, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for service level improvement.

  • Cultivate and manage transportation and operations data used in dashboards, analyses, and projects. Partner with Data Engineering, the centralized analytics team, and other cross functional teams to ensure data quality, integrity, and availability. Maintain data integrity and governance standards, ensuring high-quality, reliable data inputs across transportation and operations datasets

  • Assist in technology enablement implementation projects by providing timely analyses, supporting user testing for analytics functionality, and troubleshooting implementations

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Operations, Finance, Customer Experience, etc…) on shared initiatives and to ensure alignment on data definitions, reporting cadence, and performance metrics

  • Support carrier and vendor management through performance analysis, contract compliance reviews, and cost-benefit evaluations

  • Model and forecast shipping volumes and transportation spend to inform budgeting and planning efforts

  • Lead data deep-dives and root cause analyses to support problem-solving initiatives, such as delayed shipments or process bottlenecks

  • Communicate complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders through compelling visualizations and executive-ready summaries

You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a quantitative field (e.g., Supply Chain, Logistics, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics).

  • 2–4 years of experience in an analyst role within logistics, transportation, operations, or a related field.

  • Strong SQL writing skills – ability to independently write complex queries and join & analyze large datasets across multiple sources translating insights into actionable recommendations

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent

  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets proficiency for ad-hoc analysis and reporting

  • Strong communication skills – ability to explain complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders
