About Foundation Health

Foundation Health is transforming healthcare through an AI-powered digital pharmacy platform that seamlessly connects operational infrastructure with high quality patient experiences. Our mission is to transform patient centric care by connecting fragmented infrastructure, optimizing care coordination, and removing friction from the patient journey. We refuse to adhere to the status quo; instead, we actively pioneer solutions that will shape the healthcare practices of tomorrow.

This ambitious vision is only achievable with the dedication of the right team propelling us forward. We firmly believe that a supportive and inspiring work environment fuels creativity, transforming it into groundbreaking innovation. It is this very innovation that not only benefits our organization but also positively impacts our people, partners, and most importantly, our patients.

At Foundation Health, we foster a culture that encourages our team members to broaden their horizons, urging them to bring their passion and curiosity to the workplace each day. We understand that diverse perspectives fuel progress, and we actively seek individuals who share our commitment to excellence and forward-thinking.

Fixing Healthcare, One System at a Time

Healthcare runs on workflows built in the 90s. We're changing that - specifically in pharmacy, where we're building AI-powered infrastructure that plugs directly into EHRs and helps health systems operate at scale. Not a chatbot. Real, deep infrastructure that changes how care gets delivered.

We're Series A, already live with enterprise-level customers, and now building the team that scales it.

The Role

QA at Foundation Health isn't a checkbox exercise. You're the person who decides whether something is ready to ship - and in healthcare, that actually matters.

We're looking for someone who can do both things well: the rigour of proper QA - regression testing, UAT, documentation, knowing when to dig in by hand - and the newer stuff. Testing AI-powered systems, using AI tooling to supercharge your own output, getting hands-on with Playwright MCP and agentic workflows before most QA engineers have even heard of them.

If you're the kind of person who takes genuine pride in the quality of what ships, and isn't afraid to push back when something isn't ready — this is the role.

What you'll be doing

You'll be shaping our QA culture from scratch - frameworks, standards, the lot. Greenfield, no legacy debt to wrestle with.

On the technical side: Playwright for automated front-end testing, Postman for API testing across our core platforms, and a modern serverless stack in Node.js, TypeScript, SvelteKit and GCP. You'll also get early hands-on time with Playwright MCP and AI agents as we ship real features into production - this is genuinely new territory for most teams.

You'll work closely with engineers to catch issues early, support complex implementations, and make sure our move-fast culture doesn't compromise the product. When something isn't ready, you'll say so - and people will listen.

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years in QA or software testing, with solid experience on web applications and APIs

  • Strong Playwright skills and a good instinct for when to automate and when to test by hand

  • Experience working on enterprise-level products - you understand what's at stake when things go wrong

  • Already using AI tools in your workflow, or hands-on experience testing AI-powered products

  • Someone who cares about quality as an outcome, not just a process

The setup

We're based in Manchester city centre and that's our preference for this role. That said, if you're London-based and the rest of this resonates, we're open to a conversation - we have a presence there too.

We're not prescriptive about office days, but we do think there's something in getting in a room together to whiteboard, work through hard problems, and actually build a team. We're looking for someone who gets that.

Early equity, high agency, and work that genuinely improves people's lives through the healthcare system.
